Not only can I curl my tongue in the two usual ways, but I can also make it look like a W – now that’s talent my friend (Bess, I was very amused by your blog… I answered these questions a while ago but haven’t posted them until now. Until reading yours, I didn’t realize the extent of this talent). Back to Costa Rica – beach, rainforest, volcano, waterfall, butterflies, and much more. However, I want to travel the world… so I’d be happy in many places. I’m even happy in my own back yard.

Showers – for speed and general cleanliness, baths for relaxing (although it’s been a LONG time since I’ve taken a long relaxing bath)

yes – in spirit
ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK?
honestly – sometimes, and I think it’s an evolutionary adaptation that makes a lot of sense. Just because its dark doesn’t mean something bad is there… but if there is something, I’d like to be able to see it. Also, the dark isn’t as scary as long as I have the ability to turn on a light (or flashlight or candle) if need be (whether or not I actually use it)
WHAT ARE YOU ADDICTED TO?
I think I have a high predisposition to becoming addicted to any number of things… so I made a conscious effort for moderation. In high school, I started using ICQ and added another messenger program to my computer once I got to college… but after my computer crashed, I didn’t download them again since I was possibly becoming addicted. Likewise, I have cut back on diet coke compared to high school/college. I can easily become addicted to computer games (spider solitaire, free cell, jigzone, MAW) but again try to limit myself.

um, if we’re not referring to prescription medicine, over the counter medicine for its intended purposes, or alcohol in moderation
ARE YOU A HEAVY SLEEPER?
yes and no. once I fall asleep, I’m usually out – there’s usually no point in trying to get me to move from the futon/couch to the bed once I’ve fallen asleep. However, the ringing of my cell phone will wake me up pretty quickly… unless it’s on vibrate and in the other room.

yes. It has its ups and downs but overall life is so worth it… the good times are great and the bad times make me appreciate the good times even more… and my friends and family make it even better
WHAT'S YOUR BEST FRIEND'S NAME?
I hate the best friend game... possibly a cop out answer – but very true – my mom has been there for me from day one (heck, from 9 months before day 1)… if I told you about my blog, you’re a pretty close friend.
WHO'S BETTER: STONE COLD OR THE ROCK?
don’t care, but it does make me think of some awesome girls and guys from American Samoa that I met while at a JSA program at Northwestern back in the day (they loved the Rock).
ARE YOU PSYCHIC?
no, but I think it would be cool to have telekinetic powers (thoughts of Mary Poppins cleaning up the kids’ room pass through my mind)
HAVE YOU READ "CATCHER IN THE RYE"?
in high school. I’d be interested in reading it again. I think I was the one person in my class who neither loved nor hated it.
DO YOU PLAY ANY INSTRUMENTS?
I am musically challenged. I even have difficulty dancing (especially competitively such as w/ DDR), and no one wants to hear me sing. Although I have great respect for those who can play an instrument, sing, dance, or even understand music.

ice skate - relatively well… it’s fun even when I try to go faster than I should and fall

no – at least nothing more than a few cents

I don’t think I’ve tried… but I’m always up for new things

hmmm… that depends. I had fun at Glacier Park in Montana a couple years ago with an ex-boyfriend and his parents… but I don’t think I’d survive by myself and without at least having running water. So, yes if it’s a short excursion and I’m with others (or at least one other) who know what they’re doing.
